Customers

Residential customers wishing to dispose of approved waste may use the landfill without a commercial permit. Residential customers are directed to enter the landfill and check-in at the scale house. Acceptable forms of payment are check, Visa, or Mastercard. No cash accepted.

Commercial entities wishing to utilize the landfill must complete a Landfill Permit Application. The application form should be completed and submitted to the landfill for review and approval. Those entities wishing to establish a charge account should also complete the credit sections that are part of the application package. (2022 Landfill Permit Application)

Commercial customers that wish to dispose of materials that are not easily recognizable as municipal solid waste must complete and submit appropriate forms and supporting documentation summarized under the following special materials acceptance protocols. Acceptance of the material is subject to the approval by the City. Acceptance of industrial wastes will also require approval from the NYSDEC. If the material is accepted, a lot number will be assigned to the waste stream for tracking purposes. A bill of lading with the lot number must accompany each load. Acceptance of such materials is on an appointment basis only; and must be scheduled with the City's consultant as noted on the approprate forms.
